1st Building On New Riverview Hospital Campus To Open July 1

The 40,000-square-feet freestanding office will house BayCare Outpatient Imaging, BayCare laboratories and the HealthPoint Medical Group Patient-Centered Home.

BayCare Health System will open its new Physicians Office Building on July 1 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital-South campus.

The 40,000-square-feet freestanding office will house BayCare Outpatient Imaging, BayCare laboratories and the HealthPoint Medical Group Patient-Centered Home.

Apollo Beach physician Frederick Taylor is moving his primary care practice into the new building. Office space is available for other physicians as well.

St. Joseph’s Hospital-South is currently under construction on the 72 acre site at 10141 Big Bend Rd., Riverview, with completion scheduled for early 2015.

When completed, it will be a 90-bed, full-service, acute care hospital with an attached, three-story Medical Office Building and the two-story, standalone office building opening Monday.

The imaging center will offer high field, open MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds and bone-density testing.

Throughout 2014, the company will fill about 500 new jobs at the hospital. Job openings will be posted on a job board at www.BayCarejobs.com.
