Middle school students inspire "Tune into the music of architecture"
Middle school students inspire an article relating music and architecture.
Here's the link to an article I've just had published on Houzz. Though not mentioned in the article, the inspiration to write it came from a day spent sitting in for Ms. Dahl's music class at Randall Middle School. The assignment Ms. Dahl left for her students inspired me to write about how music and architecture are intertwined and how the terms for the one can be used to describe the features of the other, how architecture really is "frozen music."
It'd be great to hear your stories of how the spaces you inhabit are like music. Is your home "adagio" or more "vivace?" Is there a spot in your home that is "pastorale" or is everything "sforzando?"
