Planning Under Way for 5th Annual Winthrop Arts Fest
A planning meeting will take place Thursday, Aug. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

It's not too early to begin making plans for the fifth annual Winthrop Arts Festival.
This year's festival is scheduled for March 23-24 at Winthrop Town Centre on Bloomingdale Avenue.

Local artists and art supporters interested in getting involved are invited to a planning meeting Thursday, Aug. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Beaux Arts Gallery, 11252 Winthrop Main St., Riverview.
"There will be opportunities for your input and for your help in forming a committee to make this the best event of the 2013 art season," said gallery director Debra Bryant.
