Historic Photos on Display at Center Place in October

More than 60 photos of Brandon and surrounding communities are on display throughout the month.

The communities of Brandon, Seffner, Valrico, Riverview and Lithia didn't simply spring up overnight.

Remnants of 100-year-old structures can still be glimpsed between new subdivisions and shopping centers.

Nevertheless, most of the historic buildings that marked the development of these East Hillsborough County communities have long been demolished.
