On Exhibit at Center Place

Artist Roxanne Tobaison will exhibit her watercolor
paintings in the Mook Gallery at Center Place during the
month of February.

A reception for the artist will be held Thursday, Feb. 3 from 5;30 to 7 p.m. at Center Place, 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon.

For more than 30 years Roxanne has been painting the beauty and wonder of "our back yard." She said when she looks at the fabulous historical treasurers of the area and realizes one day they may be gone, she has to paint to preserve the beauty and wonder of these buildings, landscapes, birds and the natural environments in watercolor.

One example, is the commissioned painting titled: "Florida Endangered - Simmons Hammock Greenway."  This is a wildlife habitat in Seffner that contains the enormous eagles’ nest and is teaming with wildlife, birds and fauna.
