Nights of Shimmering Lights kicks off its first season with a spectacular light and sound show with more than a half million twinkling lights celebrating the holiday season.  Drive your car, truck, van or bus to discover why Nights of
Shimmering Lights will become an essential holiday tradition for many families. Experience scenes like Winter Wonders and Undersea Adventure while listening to the sounds of the season from your car radio. Reflect on the reason for the season with The Nativity and watch the children’s face light up as the giant Santa greets them in Toyland. With more than 600 larger-than-life lighted
scenes, tunnels and dancing lights Nights of Shimmering Lights is unique in its custom-designed scenes to celebrate the joy of the season. Don’t miss the Animation Lane where mega-trees, arches and shooting poles entertain you with their dancing antics. Build memories as you experience together the magnificent splendor of Nights of Shimmering Lights.The event takes place starting Saturday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds. It runs each Thursday through Sunday night until Jan. 7. The cost is $20 per vehicle.
