The Pottery Place will host a pottery class for home-schooled students Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Center Place, 618 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon. Each week students will learn about a different state as they sculpt items related to the state out of clay and then paint them. Students also will make ceramic items. Students should bring a three-ring binder to class with them. paint already made ceramici items. 3 states will be covered each month. Students are asked to bring a 3-ring binder to class. The cost is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers
