History Center Halloween Party

The Tampa Bay History Center, 801 Old Water St. in downtown Tampa, will host HISTeria, the area’s premier costume party for the adult crowd, on Saturday,Oct. 22 from 8 p.m. - midnight. Party-goers are encouraged to wear costumes that explore classic movies and kitschy television shows from the past, in keeping with the Tampa Bay History Center’s newest exhibit.

The Tampa Bay History Center’s newest exhibit, Out of This World:Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television, features more than 30 costumes and props from science fiction films and television programs, such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Blade Runner and Batman.

Presented by Cigar City Brewing, HISTeria will feature food from Café Dufrain, Café Hey, the Columbia Cafe, Datz Delicatessen, Paniniateca, Pizza Fusion, Splitsville, Stumps Supper Club and beer from Cigar City Brewing. D.J. Blenda will be spinning old-school Halloween classics all night long.

Tickets are $50 per person in advance; $40 per History Center member in advance; $60 per person at the door.

HISTeria tickets include valet parking, food sampling, two drink tickets and admission to the Out of This World exhibit. All proceeds benefit the Tampa Bay History Center’s educational mission.
