Family Abilities Rally

Hillsborough County commissioners will join the Hillsborough County Alliance for Citizens With Disabilities and YES! of America United on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the fourth annual Families Abilities Information Rally (F.A.I.R.) at All People’s Life Center, 6105 E. Sligh Ave. in Tampa.

The F.A.I.R. is a family-friendly community event for everyone that offers numerous educational opportunities for those with and without disabilities. Parents and kids can participate in carnival games with prizes, balloon making, arts and crafts, a bounce house, face painting and bowling.

Dozens of vendors will provide information on resources to help make the community more inclusive for those living with disabilities. The Southeast Guide Dogs will perform and attendees can have their pictures taken on a motorcycle and get a flu shot.
