Center Place, 619 Vonderburg Dr., Brandon, will host its annual "For the Love of Arts" Chalk Walk Saturday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. The Chalk Walk is free but tickets are required and can be obtained at Center Place. Children age 3 and up are invited to create masterpieces in chalk on the sidewalk. The event also will include demonstrations, performances, magic, face painting and music. Each artist will receive a box of chalk, a sidewalk section, coupons and items from local businesses.
Sponsors include Chick-fil-A Lake Brandon Village, Kappa Kappa, Pat's Corner Gift Shop and Coastland Church.
