Weekend Weather Forecast: Hot, Sunny And 'Pretty Nice'

If rain strikes, it could bring some welcome relief from hot temperatures.

Looks like a nice — but hot — weekend is in the cards for Bloomingdale and Riverview residents, as well as participants for today's Find the Hidden Treasures of Brandon Gallery Hop and the sixth annual Patriot Day Observance and Memorial Ride, presented by Brandon's AMVETS Post 44.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service’s Ruskin office say Tampa Bay area residents should plan for a hot, sunny weekend with a chance of isolated-to-scattered thunderstorms. TBO.com weather places the chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15, at 30 percent and 40 percent, respectively.

With highs expected to climb into the low to mid-90s, meteorologist Rodney Wynn says the weekend “should be pretty nice.”
