Friday Night Vine to Wine Event to Benefit A Kid's Place

The Trey Curry Foundation will host the fundraiser May 13 at The Regent.

Fine wines and gourmet food are on tap for guests attending the fourth annual Vine to Wine Friday, May 13, from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Regent, 6437 Watson Road, Riverview.

The event is being hosted by the Trey Curry Foundation and will benefit A Kid's Place, 1715 Lithia-Pinecrest Road, Brandon, a shelter for abused and neglected children.

The Trey Curry Foundation was formed by Valrico residents Clif and Terry Curry following the death of their son, Trey. Their daughter, Mary Beth Curry, serves as executive director of the foundation.

This year's Vine to Wine will treat guests to fine wines provided by Premier Beverage along with appetizers prepared by Chef Dave West of The Rolling Pin Kitchen Emporium. In addition to giving a cooking demonstration, West will serve such foods as mini lobster rolls and bruschetta to guests.

In addition, there will be live entertainment and a silent auction featuring dining and spa packages, hotel stays, limo services and sports memorabilia.

Tickets for the event are $50, and individual and corporate sponsorships are available.
