Viewfinder: FishHawk Pumpkin Fest

Hundreds of residents turned out to carve pumpkins, try their luck at games and explore the offerings of the many vendors at the annual FishHawk Pumpkin Fest Saturday, Oct. 15.

Miniature Darth Vaders, Hannah Montanas and Supermen got a preview of Halloween Saturday afternoon as they visited business vendors offering candy and other treats to the hundreds of children and their parents attending the annual FishHawk Ranch Pumpkin Fest.

In addition to treats, businesses hosted an assortment of games for kids. Youngsters also had a chance to carve a pumpkin, take a hayride and watch their dads dig into apple pies during a pie-eating contest.

The sixth annual FishHawk Ranch Pumpkin Fest also included a tennis tournament, a free concert by The Go Daddies and the lighting of the pumpkins.
