Valentine's Day Dining Options

1. The Italian Kitchen, 6915 U.S. 301, Riverview, is offering an Italian Night of Wine and Roses Sunday, Feb. 13, or Monday, Feb. 14. The restaurant will offer a five-course dinner for $49.95 including a glass of Spumante and a rose. Reservations are suggested by calling (813) 671-0953. Special dishes include Chicken Involtini, chicken breasts with mushrooms, carmelized onions and asparagus, served with grilled vegetables, as well as lobster ravioli.

2. The Tea Cup Room, 1107 Lithia-Pinecrest Road, Brandon, is hosting a Valentine's Day special on Feb. 12 starting at 4 p.m. Dinner will feature Chicken Marsala with cremini mushrooms in a marsala wine sauce, twice-baked garlic mashed potatoes and dessert along with a raspberry mint cooler in a fluted champagne glass. 3. Joia Fabulous Pizza and Martini Bar, 10475 Gibsonton Road, Riverview, will offer a special menu Feb. 14 along with live jazz from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information, call (813) 677-7171.

4. Park Square Cellars Bistro,16132 Churchview Drive, Lithia, is doing a Valentine's Day special menu Feb. 11-14, which can be four courses or served a la carte. It includes Apalachicola Oysters with Raspberry Mignonette, White Gazpacho with crab, grapes and chives, seared tenderloin and grilled lobster duo for two with Gnocchi ala Romana, grilled asparagus and bordelaise and chocolate-covered long-stem strawberries with Champagne Sorbet. 5. Stonewood Grill & Tavern, 612 E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, Mark at 12:30 (813) 655-9561 will feature two specials in addition to its regular menu: a bone-in porterhouse pork chop with a fig demi glaze served with savory rice pilaf and mixed vegetables and grilled sesame-ginger ahi tuna, served with wasabi mashed potatoes, a spring roll and Asian vegetables. The special menu items will be available Feb. 11-14. 

6. Acropolis Taverna, 6108 Winthrop Town Center Ave., is featuring a Chef's Choice dinner for two with wine and dessert as well as Acropolis' regular extensive menu. Call (813) 654-2255.
