Sponsors, Vendors Sought for Annual Dog Fest

This year's Dog Fest will take place Oct. 6 at Circa FishHawk.

Organizers of a popular fall festival for dogs and dog lovers alike are seeking vendors and sponsors.

This year's Dog Fest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Circa FishHawk off Boyette Road in Lithia.

The cut-off date to be a $1,000 Top Dog sponsor/vendor is Sept. 1. Top Dog sponsors will have their company's logos on the event T-shirts, their name and logo in all news and media releases relating to the event, prime vendors locations, the inclusion of promo items in goodie bags, a company listing on the prgram, sponsorship recogntion on Aliquity's website and the opportunity to have two 30-second "commercials" during the event.

The cut-off date to be a $200 for Lead Dog sponsor/vendor is Sept. 1, which includes prime vendor locations, names and logos on all media releases, the inclusion of promos in the goodie bag, a listing on the program, sponsorship recognition on the website and the opportunity to have one 30-second "commercial" during the event.

For $75, Best in Show vendors will receive a 12- by 12-foot vendor space and recognition during the event.

There is a $10 charge for Flea Market participants.

Nonprofit groups and government agencies will receive a 12- by 12-foot vendor space for free.

Anyone interested can visit Aliquity's website and fill out an online application.

All proceeds will be donated to local dog-related charities.

Aliquity, an organization that raises funds for nonprofit community causes, hosts the annual festival. 

Last year's Dog Fest attracted several hundred people and their canine companions who came together to show off their dogs, interact with local vendors and raise funds for pet-related causes.

In addition to vendor displays, Dog Fest will include music, food, drinks, contests, demonstrations, samples and raffle prizes.

Prizes will be given for the best costume, cutest puppy and owner/dog look-alikes.

There also will be pet blessings, a training demonstration and Rescue Row.

Aliquity hosts events that focus on connecting business owners to their communities, while supporting local charities.

Annual events hosted by Aliquity include Dog Fest, the Jingle Run at Bell Creek and a Chili Fest. Because  Aliquity is a 501(c)3 corporation, all donations to Aliquity are tax deductible. Aliquity also welcomes volunteers to help with its events, and can certify service hours for students.
