Sheriff's Office Brightens Holidays for Abused, Neglected Children

The sheriff's Child Protective Investigative Division partnered with Kids Charities of Tampa and Sincerely Santa of Tampa to present hundreds of toys to abused and neglected children.

Christmas was a bit brighter for 200 Hillsborough County children, thanks to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's Child Protective Investigation
Division.

The division partnered with Kids Charities of Tampa and Sincerely Santa of
Tampa Inc. to provide toys for abused and neglected children last week.

This toy drive is unique in that the 200 children receiving the gifts are not in foster care. They are children working with child protective investigators and most are living with family members.
