Riverview Woman's Club to Host 'A Night in Sicily'

The event will take place Nov. 17 at the Summerfield Crossings Golf Club.

There's no need to travel halfway around the world for great Italian food.

The Riverview Woman's Club is inviting members of the community to enjoy "A Night in Sicily" Saturday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Summerfield Crossings Golf Club, 13050 Summerfield Blvd., Riverview.

For $25, residents will enjoy an Italian buffet dinner with chicken Parmigiana, penne pasta, red and white sauces, meatballs, garlic bread and salad. Tiramisu and coffee will complete the meal.

The event also will include a free wine tasting from 6 to 7 p.m. with a cash bar available as well.

Those attending will enjoy a wine pull, restock the bar raffle and silent auction as well.

The event will raise funds for scholarships for Riverview High School students.

Sponsors include In W. Kim's Martial Arts Academy of Valrico, certified public accountant Carole Sell of Riverview, Kanetta Denk of Premier Designs, Stubbs Orthodontics in Brandon and Joe Burkeson of Square-One Inspection Service.

Formed in March, the Riverview Woman's Club is a nonprofit organization open to all women, working and nonworking. Membership is $25 a year.

The club meets once a month for luncheons and hosts other events throughout the year.

For information on the club or to obtain tickets for the upcoming "A Night in Sicily," contact Jeanne Burkeson at Jeanne@square-oneinspection.com or 813-334-3196.
