Riverview Girl Wins Miss Florida Pre-Teen Title

Meadau Raye Cunningham qualified to represent the area at the 27th annual National Miss American Coed Pageant.

Meadau Raye Cunningham, 11, of Riverview has won the Miss Florida American Pre-Teen Hostess title and qualified to represent Florida at the 27th annual National Miss American Coed Pageant.

She will attend the national pageant for her age group at Walt Disney World in Orlando during Thanksgiving week where she will compete with other outstanding girls from across the United States.

This is a natural scholarship pageant that does not allow anyone under the age of 15 to wear makeup. The pageant focuses on the past and present accomplishments of these outstanding young women while encouraging them to set and achieve high goals for the future.

The Miss American Coed Pageant has been recognizing outstanding young women since 1983.
