The Regent, 6437 Watson Rd., Riverview, hosted a road cleanup and clothing drive Sunday, Feb. 26, inviting neighbors to come out to help clean up Watson Road.
In addition, residents were urged to donate lightly used clothes to the Emergency Care Help Organization in Brandon, which provides immediate relief in the forms of food, clothing and household items to those residents of the greater Brandon area who have experienced recent emergencies. Since its inception in 1987, ECHO has assisted more than 109,000 individuals, over half of whom were children, with the basic life necessities.
