Pooch Parade Planned at Canine Cabana

Pups throughout the community are invited to don their best bonnets and top hats and join Canine Cabana as it celebrates spring.

, 9708 Carr Rd., Riverview, will host its third annual Pooches on Parade Friday, April 6. Dog owners are invited to dress their pups in their spring best so they can strut their stuff along a bubble-filled parade route.

Along the parade route, pups will stop to bob for biscuits, collect a basket of goodies and search for the elusive golden egg.

The event also will feature goodies for pet owners.

Canine Cabana is collecting donations for A Kid's Place in Brandon during the month of April. A portion of the proceeds from Pooches on Parade will be donated as well. A Kid's Place provides a safe haven for youngsters who have been neglected or abused.
