“It’s going to be wet,” said meteorologist Andrew McKaughan, as evidenced by Monday's rainfall. “We’re expecting quite a bit of rainfall going into Thursday. It’s definitely going to be miserable.”
McKaughan said the Tampa Bay region should see between 2 to 4 inches of rain with heavy storms and some thunderstorms anticipated daily. Courtesy of all that rain, however, daily high temperatures might not break the 90-degree mark, he added.
There is a silver lining in those clouds to look forward to, McKaughan pointed out.
“Right now Saturday and Sunday are looking pretty nice.”
