‘Miserable’ Weather Hits But 'Nice' Weekend Approaches

Batten down the hatches. Forecasters at the National Weather Service say the Bloomingdale-Riverview area is in for a “miserable” start to the week.

McKaughan said the Tampa Bay region should see between 2 to 4 inches of rain with heavy storms and some thunderstorms anticipated daily. Courtesy of all that rain, however, daily high temperatures might not break the 90-degree mark, he added.

There is a silver lining in those clouds to look forward to, McKaughan pointed out.
