Learn How to Mix Your Own Cocktails Tonight

Impress the guests at your next party by learning how to make signature and craft cocktails by Master Bartenders.

Wimauma Catering, located at the Winthrop Barn Theatre, 11349 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, is offering a mixology and bartending basics class Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

Take part in a highly interactive learning experience where you and your friends will learn how to think about and prepare classic and modern cocktails while you taste history in a glass. Use a blend of core bartending tools, multitasking skills and creativity, and apply elements of science to discover a new way to mix drinks.

This hands-on session gives everyone the chance to interact with the Wimauma Catering team as well as each other as they learn the art of crafting cocktails. Participants will get a chance to taste a variety of cocktails and learn how to use items already in their kitchen to make amazing drinks.

The event includes two hours of instruction, five signature cocktails and appetizers.

Be sure to return to the Winthrop Barn Theatre Thursday, March 14 at 6 p.m. for a two-hour cooking class with Chef Gary Moran of Wimauma Catering. The cooking class includes dinner. Tickets are $50 and are available through the Facebook page.
