Junior Women Seek Donations for Operation Holiday Support

The annual donation drive supports U.S. troops stationed overseas during the holidays.

The GFWC Brandon Junior Woman's Club is seeking help for its annual   supply drive for the troops, Operation Holiday Support.

The community is asked to donate items that will be included in the care packages sent to deployed troops. A first mailing took place in November and another is scheduled for December.

"We will continue mailing each month, depending on supplies and money for postage," said Becky Goble of the Junior Woman's Club.

Mailing a care package costs $13.98. Anyone nterested in donating   toward postage can donate through the club's Paypal link at www.thebjwc.com or mail postage to GFWC Brandon Junior Woman's Club P.O. Box 66 Brandon, FL 33509 Attention: Operation Holiday Support.

Since the GFWC Brandon Junior Woman’s Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a thank-you letter will be written and mailed to you to be used as documentation for tax purposes. The troops will e-mail thank-you notes and, as they are received, they will be posted on the Community Services Programs tab under International Outreach on the club's website.
