Hats Rule at Mad Hatter Tea

The annual South Brandon Rotary Club fundraiser will take place Sunday.

Hats of all shapes and sizes will be in abundance Sunday, Feb. 19, when the South Brandon Rotary Club hosts its fifth annual Mad Hatter Tea from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cross Creek Ranch, 12950 E. Wheeler Rd., Dover.

The tea will feature tea and taste treats from local restaurants including Jaymer-Que Southern BBQ, Ms. Cyndi's Cafe, The Catering Company, Chick-fil-A at Lake Brandon Village and The Original Leena's Chocolates.

The event also will include a hat parade, a live auction, a daddy-daughter dance and a make-a-memory photo.

"The Mad Hatter Tea Party has become Brandon South Rotary's signature event," said Lori Bukaweski, who is co-chairing this year's event with Cyndi Holcombe. "Attendees look forward to tea and great food, the Mad Hatter parade and our live auction. This event has become a great daddy and daughter event."

The South Brandon Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club, 2721 S. Miller Rd., Valrico.
