Hats of all shapes and sizes will be in abundance Sunday, Feb. 19, when the South Brandon Rotary Club hosts its fifth annual Mad Hatter Tea from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cross Creek Ranch, 12950 E. Wheeler Rd., Dover.
The tea will feature tea and taste treats from local restaurants including Jaymer-Que Southern BBQ, Ms. Cyndi's Cafe, The Catering Company, Chick-fil-A at Lake Brandon Village and The Original Leena's Chocolates.
The event also will include a hat parade, a live auction, a daddy-daughter dance and a make-a-memory photo.
"The Mad Hatter Tea Party has become Brandon South Rotary's signature event," said Lori Bukaweski, who is co-chairing this year's event with Cyndi Holcombe. "Attendees look forward to tea and great food, the Mad Hatter parade and our live auction. This event has become a great daddy and daughter event."
Individual tickets are $25. Funds raised will go to support nonprofit groups in the community. For information, visit the club's website or call Lori Bukaweski at 813-361-7450.
The South Brandon Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at noon at Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club, 2721 S. Miller Rd., Valrico.
