Great Escape: A Day in FishHawk Ranch

Sometimes we all want to get away for the day, but not have to worry about traffic or loud noises. Come spend a day at our neighboring FishHawk Ranch community and enhance our local scene.

In the center of FishHawk Ranch is a wonderful sitting area with an open field for the kids to run and play. You can bring a swimsuit for the kiddos to run through the water feature shooting water into the air. While you are there, you can relax in the shade or go get pizza and a drink at Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria. 

If you are feeling creative, you can paint your own craft or create a mosaic masterpiece at Art Monkey Studio.

While out in the neighborhood, take a bike ride or walk around one of the 25 miles of trails set throughout the community. You will pass many lakes, ponds, wildlife and beautiful homes along the pathways. You'll get a chance to see why FishHawk Ranch was designated a "green" community from the Florida Green Building Coalition.

You can wrap up the night with live music most nights at Park Square Cellar and Bistro. This coming Friday, it will host The Raise, featuring live pop/rock music and Saturday is Bobby Lee Rodgers with the Friends of Fil Band, playing funk rock.

There is always something to enjoy in this beautiful community right in our back yard. So take in a brisk walk, create a masterpiece or dine with live music at Park Square in FishHawk Ranch.
