Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

Here’s some activities that incorporate dance, play and stories — pick and choose from this week’s array of events.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Where/When: Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Friday from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic School, 10428 St. Stephen Circle, Riverview. 

Why Go: Here's an event not to be missed if you love rides, entertainment and food. The 10th annual Spring Jubilee will feature more than 30 midway rides, raffles every hour with a $2,500 grand prize and entertainment under the big tent throughout all four days. In addition, there will be a free Easter egg hunt Sunday, April 3, at 11 a.m. for kids 10 and under.

Pricing: Admission and parking are free. Fairgoers can purchase an armband for all the rides for $17 in advance or $20 the day of the event.

Where/when: The club meets at The Drawing Point, 1708 Harmony Grove Trail, Valrico, weekly on Wednesdays from 3 to 3:30 p.m. Call 651-3363 for reservations.

Why go: Youngsters will learn easy drawing techniques that will make them feel like real artists.

Where/when: The Funky Monkey art studio is located at 16144 Churchview Drive, Lithia, and features classes offered on a variety of days and times.

Why go:  The Art Monkey offers beginning pottery classes for all ages, including adults. In addition, students learn to work with other materials such as fused art glass, tie-dye, mosaics and ceramics.

Pricing: $5 for Art Monkey members and $10 for nonmembers

Where/when: Bell Shoals Academy,  2102 Bell Shoals Rd, Brandon, April 1 from 2 to 9 p.m.

Why go: Bell Shoals Academy will present its Spring Jubilee "Go Wild" fundraiser April 1 from 2 to 9 p.m. Outside activities between 2 and 6 p.m. will include laser tag, hamster balls, a snow slide, face painting, bounce-arounds, snow cones and popcorn. At 6 p.m. Jaymer-Que BBQ will provide pre-sold dinner in the special events center, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon. There will be a live auction from 6:30 to 9 p.m. including gift baskets, tickets to professional sporting events, gift cards and weekend getaways.

Pricing: prices vary for activities.

Where/when: April 1 at 11:45 and 7 p.m. at Center Place, 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon.

Why go: Stages Productions will make the musical, "The Frog Prince" come to life with its timeless lessons of compassion, keeping promises and true beauty. This musical cleverly mixes these vital themes with songs and comedy. It is suitable for prekindergarten through third grade.

Pricing: Tickets are $6 for members, $7 for nonmembers and tickets must be purchased in advance.

Where/When: Weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Osprey Club, 5721 Osprey Ridge Drive, Lithia.

Why Go: Stroller Strides offers fitness for mom and fun for baby. The hour-long classes include power walking and cardio training, intertwined with strengthening stations where moms can use exercise resistance tubing, the stroller and the environment

Pricing: The first class  is free.

Where/When: Weekly Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at The Dance Center, 161 E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon.

Why Go: The children are introduced to listening, memorization, music and coordination.

Pricing: $55 per month

Where/When: The Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico weekly Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. 

Why Go: Babies hear stories, socialize and engage in play.

Pricing: Free. Can't beat that price.

Where/When: Pump It Up, 729 W. Lumsden Road, Suite A, Brandon.

Why Go: The session promotes social development and physical fitness while bouncing, sliding, climbing, and jumping on Pump It Up's giant, soft, interactive inflatibles.

 Pricing: $8
