The Little Shoppes of Winthrop, located between 6032 and 6038 Wintrop Town Centre Ave., Riverview, will host a Ladies Night Out Saturday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Ladies are invited to shop or make their Valentine's wish lists, and enjoy complimentary wine and food.

Head to the FishHawk Farmer's Market at Park Square this Sunday, Feb. 5, from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. and visit an array of vendors selling everything from homemade foods to fresh veggies.

GREATER BRANDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNUAL DINNER

The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner is scheduled for Feb. 3 from 6:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Regent, 6437 Watson Rd., Riverview. Bloomingdale attorney Bob Bivins will take the reigns as chairman of the chamber. In addition, the chamber will present its Key Citizen of the Year award. The cost is $50 for members, $75 for nonmembers.

Amateur and seasoned painters alike are asked to present up to three pieces of their artwork of any subject, size or format for the first "So You Think You Can Paint?", sponsored by . There is no fee to enter the contest, which will be judged on concept. A panel of judges will critique the submitted paintings with an assessment of skill and how well the artist handled his or her medium. Drop off your paintings Feb. 5 from 5-8 p.m. or Feb. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The reception and awards ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 10 from 6-8 p.m. at The Regent, 6437 Watson Rd., Riverview.
