Charity Golf Tournament

There will be an American Cancer Society Relay Fore Life Charity Golf Tournament Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Golfers Club, 4113 Great Golfers Place, Valrico. The event will include contests such as "Straightest Drive" and "Closest to the Pin," as well as prizes like tickets for upcoming events, free rounds of golf, excursions and golf accessories. The entry fee of $60 includes lunch.
Kiwanis Club Poker Run

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon is partnering with Joshua House and Born to Ride magazine to host the first Charity Motorcycle Poker Run Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Uncle Mike’s Smokehouse Grill, 9847 E. Adamo Dr. in Tampa. Registration, which begins at 10 a.m., is $20 for the first hand and $5 for each additional hand. The ride runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m, beginning and ending at Uncle Mike's Smokehouse Grill. Following the Poker Run, there will be a party with food, music, vendors, raffles and awards to the winning riders.
Kids Workshop
The Home Depot at 10151 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, offers workshops for children the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to noon. The workshops are designed for ages 5 to 12 and includes projects such as toolboxes, fire trucks, mail organizers, bird houses, bug houses and decorative frames. The workshops include took safety. Each child attending the workshop receives an orange apron and an achievement pin.
Community Yard Sale
Kids Community College-Lake St. Charles, 10544 Lake Saint Charles Blvd., Riverview, will host its sixth annual community yard sale Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
FishHawk Farmers Market
The FishHawk Farmers Market will take place April 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Park Square in FishHawk Ranch. The farmers' market, held the first Sunday of each month from October to May, attracts vendors selling everything from fresh produce to homemade treats and handmade jewelry.
Pokemon League
The Brandon Area Pokemon League meets the first and third Sunday of the month from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico.
