Picture-perfect weather and the promise of games and entertainment attracted roughly 6,000 residents to the seventh annual FishHawk Ranch Pumpkin Festival Saturday.
More than 500 pumpkins were shipped in for the event where they were transformed into Jack-o'-Lanterns for the traditional pumpkin lighting ceremony at dusk.
The festivities also included games booths provided by area businesses, inflatables, a hay ride, contests, a treat street, a free concert with Anchor Atlantic and food provided by several food trucks.
Proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and Feeding America Tampa Bay.
