Loaves of Love

Chabad of Brandon invites Jewish women to make a batch of Challah from scratch Thursday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chabad Jewish Center, 3005 Waylon Ln., Valrico.

There is a nominal fee of $10 to assist with covering the cost of the evening.

Challah is one of the mitzvos given uniquely to women. Throughout the ages, Jewish women have recited a prayer for anyone who may be in need while making the Challah dough, as it an auspicious time for prayers to be answered. As a group, those attending will pray for anyone who may be in need of a prayer.
