St. Stephen Catholic Church acolytes Ed Smith and Ed Dodenhoff will offer time Thursday evenings during Advent to slow down from the hustle and bustle of the holiday to discuss types of prayer and reflect on the seasons. They will lead Vespers (evening prayer) with Eucharistic Adoration as well as a short reflection on types of prayer from 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 23.
