Donate Pet Food and Get a Free Cup of Coffee at Coffee House June 9

In the mood for a free cup of coffee? Or how about an iced coffee or tea?

In conjunction with 15282 FishHawk Blvd., Lithia, Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch is giving away free cups of coffee to anyone who brings in pet food to donate on Saturday, June 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Coffee House.

Coffee House and Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch are hoping to fill the cupboards of Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue in Lithia, which takes in abused and abandoned dogs and finds them loving homes. .

In return for your generous donation, you can enjoy some of Coffee House's special brew of the day on us.

D'Ann White, local editor of the Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch, will be on hand to meet residents and give out freebies to anyone who donates food or signs up for our free newsletter.

And Coffee House is extending its hours that day to ensure everyone has a chance to drop by.

"We're hoping this is going to be a great success is for a great cause," said Coffee House manager Shannon Coughlin. "Coffee house loves our pups."

For those who are unable to stop by June 9, Coffee House will be accepting dog food all week long.
