Cooler Weather Expected After Today's Rain

Forecasters are calling for a mild week.

While today’s weather is anything but postcard perfect, forecasters at the National Weather Service in Ruskin are saying that will soon change.

“All that rain’s kind of breaking up,” said meteorologist Nicole Carlisle. “(By) early afternoon, the rain should be pretty much gone.”

After that, Carlisle said, Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch residents can anticipate a very nice workweek ahead.

On Thursday and Friday, things will start to heat up, but not by much. The daytime temperatures on Thursday should reach the upper 60s with an evening low in the 40s. Friday’s forecast calls for a high around 70 and clear skies. The evening hours will bring mostly clear skies with a high in the upper 40s to low 50s.

As for New Year’s weekend, the forecast right now looks nice, Carlisle said.
