Brandon Service League Raises More Than $13,000 for Local Charities

The club installed new officers and honored outgoing president, Candy Jackson.

Brandon Service League members concluded another successful year as a leading service organization in the community, raising more than $13,000 for local charities.

Funds went to A Kid’s Place, Emergency Care Help Organization and the Alice Storms Very Special Arts Festival, along with several other local charities.

Club members also installed newly elected officers and honored outgoing president, Candy Jackson.

Heading up the Brandon Service League for the next two years are Dianne Foerster as president; Pamela Knox, first vice president; Diane Burnett, second vice president; Bradlee Swanson, third vice president; JoAnn Baxter, recording secretary; Patty Wallace, corresponding secretary;
Zana Turner, treasurer; and Pat Elam, assistant treasurer.

The Brandon Service League is a member of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs, and has served the community for more than 50 years.
