Brandon Junior Women to Host Shopping Day

Here's a chance to pick up some great gifts for Mother's Day while contributing to a good cause.

The GFWC Brandon Junior Woman's Club will host a special 5th of May Shopping Day.

Proceeds will benefit the GFWC Brandon Jr. Woman's Club's historical   clubhouse renovation. The clubhouse was built in 1928 and is designated a historical building by Hillsborough County. It once housed Brandon’s first library. The aging clubhouse is in need of a new roof and new electrical wiring.  

Shopping will start at 11 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at the BJWC Historic Clubhouse, 129 N. Moon Ave. in Brandon.

Some of the vendors selling items are: Beijo Bags, Premier Designs Jewelry, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Simple Sayings Cards Etc., Scentsy   candles, Tidings of Love angel pins, dog bandanas and accessories.

There will also be a bake sale, a closed art auction, raffle prizes and refreshments.
