A Maltese/Pekingese mix, Bea is estimated to be three years old. She's a major lap dog. Grooming is fine with her and she loves to be brushed. She gets along with dogs, cats and people. She's sweet and cuddly and would make someone a wonderful companion. She was surrendered to a kill shelter in north Florida because the husband felt the wife paid too much attention to her. Bea is up to date on shots and is microchipped.

Heidi's Legacy in Lithia, a nonprofit rescue shelter, will not adopt to anyone who keeps their dogs outdoors. It also will not adopt to homes with unaltered dogs or cats.
