1. Drop on by the Country Corner Cafe and Market at 7013 Lithia-Pinecrest Road where the Pinecrest 912 Patriots will host a coffee and breakfast this morning at 9:30 a.m.

2. And if you're still in the mood for coffee, attend the Greater Brandon Community Foundation's fourth annual Spring Coffee fundraiser to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation Angel Program, Each guest is asked to bring a gift card for $25 to be distributed to Brandon area families in need.  The Spring Coffee will take place at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon,  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

3. In honor of Mother's Day tomorrow, the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico, will host Muffins with Mom this morning at 10 a.m. Children are invited to enjoy a special time with mom including stories, memories and a craft.

4. Celebrate National Comic Book Day today at 2 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico. Artist Leah Lopez will teach Anime cartooning. Teens and tweens will learn how to draw characters and animals from comics and manga books. Materials will be provided.

Finally, enjoy a Ladies Night Out at the Little Shoppes of Winthrop, 6026 Winthrop Town Centre Ave., Riverview, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The event will feature a shopping party on the patio in front of the Little Shoppes of Winthrop between Starbucks and Five Guys, with complimentary wine and food provided by the vendors. Shops participating include Lady Chameleon Accessories Boutique, Royalty X Thr33 and Bellafia Chocolate Boutique.
