5 Things to Know Today, March 28

Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

1. You won't have to bother watering your lawn today. Mother Nature will do it for you. The rain will continue off and on throughout the day.

2. A free Yoga for Seniors program will be held at the Riverview Branch Library, 10509 Riverview Drive in Riverview, on Mondays, March 7, 14, 21, 28 at 10:30 a.m.

Using pranayama (yogic breathing) and slow movements in chairs, this 30-minute class is specifically designed for seniors.

3. The Rotary Club of Bloomingdale/FishHawk meets Mondays at noon at Beef O'Brady's Irish Pub, 4330 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico. The club is in the process of planning its first Crawfish Festival in May. Members are looking for sponsors and vendors.

4. Here's a chance for kids to get creative with computers. The Cyber Creations Club meets Mondays at 6 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico.

5. The Campo Family YMCA, 3414 Culbreath Road, Valrico, will host Pilates for Teens ages 13 and up Mondays from 7 to 8 p.m. Pilates is a body-conditioning method that strengthens and stretches the entire body. The focus is on the back and abdominal muscles and lower body. Teens must take the Teen Youth Orientation class to attend.
