5 Things to Know Today, March 20

Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

1. FishHawk Pinch a Penny, 16715 FishHawk Blvd., will host a Big Green Egg cookout Sunday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Big Green Egg is a barbecue grill based on an Asian ceramic cooking concept. It includes five sizes and 100 accessories. Demonstrations on how to cook on the grill will run throughout the day, guests will have a chance to try cooking on the grill and there will be free food samples.

2. Chabad of Brandon will host Purim in the Wild West, an afternoon of fun and celebration March 20 at 1 p.m. at Chabad of Brandon,
3005 Waylon Lane, Valrico

Chabad of Brandon will celebrate its annual Purim Around the World Celebration. This year the theme is the Wild West. It will include a western-style buffet lunch, mystery bingo with prizes, the Rappin' Rabbi, a moon bounce for the kids, prizes for all in costume and a multimedia Megillah reading.

3. A Bollywood Fusion Indian dance class will be held every Sunday for six weeks starting at 2 p.m. for ages 4 and up at the Dancin' Motion School of the Arts, 127 W. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon. Bollywood dance is the dance form used in the Indian films. It is a mixture of numerous styles including belly-dancing, kathak, Indian folk, Western popular, modern, jazz, hip-hop and other. The cost is $65 for a six-week session.

4. The Brandon Area Pokemon League meets the first and third Sunday of the month from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico.

5. Yoga classes are held Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. at Asana Yoga, 1252 Kingsway Road, Brandon. An athlete's stretch workshop is held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and a kids' yoga program is held Mondays at 3:30 p.m.
