5 Things to Know Today, June 5

Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

1. It will be hot and mostly sunny today with no chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to reach 94 degrees, according to Weather.com.

2. Stop by the FishHawk Farmer's Market today for some great deals on food and crafts. The FishHawk Ranch Farmer's Market is held the first Sunday of the month in Park Square from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. Dancin' Motion School of the Arts in Bloomingdale Commons at 127 W. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, will host Puerto Rican Salsa Classes. The six-week session starts May 1.  The cost is $55. Salsa Level 3 begins at 4 p.m., Level 2 at 5 p.m., Level 1 at 6 p.m., Level 4 at 7 p.m., Level 5 at 8 p.m. and Level 6 at 9 p.m.

4. Yoga classes are held Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. at Asana Yoga, 1252 Kingsway Road, Brandon. An athlete's stretch workshop is held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturdays and a kids' yoga program is held Mondays at 3:30 p.m.

5.   "Jekyll & Hyde" will be presented today at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at The Regent, 6437 Watson Road.  The Florida Academy of Performing Arts, through special arrangements with Music Theatre International, will present "Jekyll & Hyde," the tale of the classic battle between good and evil. "Jekyll & Hyde" is based on the story by Robert Louis Stevenson. Under the direction of Miguel Oquendo, the Showcase Players, a beginning musical theatre class for teens ages 13 and up, will present 10 performances. Tickets are $10 general admission and $8 for students, seniors and military.
