5 Things to Know Today, July 26

Here's some things you might want to know as you go about your day.

Feeling the heat? It won't be cooling down any time soon. According to weather.com, temperatures will reach a high of 92 degrees today, but it will feel like 100 degrees with the heat index factor. The only respite may be a scattering of storms. There's a 30 percent chance of rain. So, stay in doors, if possible. Better yet, find an activity that takes place in air-conditioned comfort. Here's some suggestions:

1. Take the little ones to Story Time at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico. Story Time is offered Tuesdays at 11 a.m.

2. Toddler Time, which includes stories and games, takes place just before Story Time at 10:30 a.m. at the library.
