5 Things to Know, Nov. 9: Yappy Hour and More

1. The class meets Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. at the Osprey Clubhouse, 5721 Osprey Ridge Dr., FishHawk Ranch. The focus of this program is to increase girls confidence in themselves, improve their self-esteem and help them understand that the beauty of a girl is on the inside and not the outside. Girls are educated on the different body types and how the fashion industry and media present a false image of what a typical girl really looks like.  The program meets for two hours once a week for four weeks. All Girls Circle programs follow a specific format that involves group discussions, individual reflection & writing exercises along with a creative activity. The cost is $99 for the four weeks.

2. The Park Square Cellar, 16132 Churchview Drive, Lithia, holds Yappy Hour on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. Dogs are welcome to the patio area while their owners enjoy a vast selection of wine and beer.
