5 Things to Know, Nov. 7: Soccer Season Kicks Off
Here is a short list of things you might find interesting as you go about your day.
1. One year ago today, Queen Elizabeth II launched a Facebook page on which no one was allowed to "friend" or "poke" her. The monarch's page was managed by a media team who monitored what people said in their comments. The page received 113,000 likes in a single day.

3. The Bloomingdale high school boys soccer team will kick off their season tonight when they host King high school at 6 p.m. The Bulls are attempting to follow up a successful campaign last season when they finished 15-2-3 and made it all the way to the district final.

4. The Pottery Place will offer Pottery with the Masters for homeschooled students in grades 1-5 today and Nov. 14 and 28 from 1-2 p.m. at Center Place, 619 Vonderburg Dr., Brandon. 5. The Cyber Creations Club meets Mondays at 6 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Regional Library, 1906 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico. This club is free to join.
