Newsome High School Chorus Madrigal Dinner
MADRIGAL DINNER TO TOAST HOLIDAY SEASON, RAISE MONEY FOR NEWSOME HIGH CHORUS
LITHIA - Newsome High School’s Chorus cordially invites fellow townsfolk to an evening of feast, song and merriment at their annual yuletide Madrigal Dinner.
The event, an annual fundraiser for Newsome’s chorus program, started with one sold-out performance several years ago and has evolved into a popular seasonal event. The festivities will be staged on December 5th and 6th at First United Methodist Church, 121 N. Knights Ave., Brandon.

Members of the school’s Chamber Choir will don medieval-style costumes and join Newsome chorus director Jeff Bogue in serenading guests and regaling them with skits and jokes. Proceeds go to help pay music and travel expenses for the chorus, which will participate in several adjudicated events off campus, including Candlelight Processional at Epcot® on December 11th and performances in Williamsburg, Virginia this spring.
The $25 ticket price includes a dinner of roast chicken, sides, bread, dessert and wassail. Deadline for ticket orders is Monday, November. 25th.
