GBAC website, membership, and upcoming events

Come join the Greater Brandon Arts Council and particpate in our monthly gatherings, and big events.

The GBAC is working diligently to form an umbrella organization for all the arts groups and individuals in the area.  As I emphasized last month, the GBAC board cannot do this itself, but needs all artists- groups and individuals alike- to come forward and join in this endeavor. Help us to make the arts in our greater Brandon community a force to be recognized!   Without the arts, we would be living in a silent and colorless world; that situation would be intolerable!  As artists and arts advocates we are striving to develop a strong relationship between the arts and the business community.    We want all those with an interest in our cultural well-being to join with us as we try to raise the understanding of the arts and promote cultural events.

Our website, newly formulated this year and constructed by our webmaster, Kevin Weilbacher, is an ideal place for you to learn about the work of the GBAC and to see links to other organizations’ activities.  We are going to post information about the cultural events we hear about and urge you to join the GBAC  so that you , too, can have a link to your own site.   You can join via our website or contact me at grdasd@aol.com

Corporate members automatically will have a link, and the board will be discussing that possibility for individual members at the next board members on July 6th.
