Pepin In Riverview Sets Ribbon-Cutting

• From The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce — "Please help us make the Pepin Academies feel welcome in their new Riverview location. They will be hosting a ribbon-cutting on Monday, Aug. 19.  State Representative Ross Spano and Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham are scheduled to attend.  Refreshments will be provided. The Pepin Academy is a tuition-free charter school for students with special needs.  The new Riverview location will serve students in grades 3 through 7. Visit http://50.28.8.201/~theacade/ for more details.

• From Newsome Football — "Busy week ahead! Mark you calendars for the following dates. Monday August 12 @ 6:30 PM we will have the Athletic Booster meeting located at Turn 2 Sports Restaurant off Lithia Pinecrest [Road]. Wednesday August 14 @ 6:30 PM is the football meeting located in the Ag room at NHS. Please plan on attending this informational meeting. Thursday August 15 from 4-7 PM is open house at Newsome. Come out bring your extra money and get a few extra things to do off that paperwork list the first day of school. There will be an Athletic Booster table to get your cards. PTSA table for membership, yearbook purchase. We even have a NHS jewelry rep that will be there. She will be selling stuff from head to toe at the booster table. Any of these 3 days you can pre-purchase your membership with boosters. It is also available online through the booster website.
