DESCRIPTION:Instructor Tim Mandese will present Light and Shadow: The Art
  of Pencil Drawing at Center Place\, 619 Vonderburg Dr.\, Brandon\, Mond
 ays from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $40 for members\, $50 for nonmembe
 rs on months with four weeks and $30 for members\, $40 for nonmembers on
  months with three weeks.\nGoing beyond the odd doodle\, this course cov
 ers the fundamentals of drawing as well as takes the more advanced artis
 t to a higher level.  Focusing on light and shadows\, the course will he
 lp you bring more depth and realism to your finished drawings.  In the c
 ourse\, you will learn how to study and "break down" a subject into easy
 -to-draw pieces.  Mandese will teach you how to create drama in a drawin
 g as well as how to choose the right reference for your subject. He will
  share tricks of the trade and show you how fun and exciting pencil draw
 ing can be.  Artists are encouraged to bring examples of their drawing f
 or critique.  This will help determine your current skill level and help
  you get the most from the class.  New artists need bring nothing more t
 han pencils\, paper and enthusiasm. This class is recommended for ages 1
 2 to adults.
