Green Iguana, located in the Winthrop Town Centre, is a semitropical bar and grill with a laid-back atmosphere that is instantly visible from the outside bar and tables that make up much of the establishment's exterior. Drink specials abound, and the restaurant features a long happy hour as well as hospitality night on Thursdays, with half off all drinks to hospitality workers. There is live music performed daily, with local artists playing both covers and originals. Entrees include tropical seafood with names derived from California, South Florida and the Bahamas, as well as staples like steak and burgers. This is one of six locations in the Greater Tampa Bay area.
