  divorce and have children. The four-hour course is required by the Stat
 e of Florida when a child is involved in the divorce or custody process\
 , and includes:Shared parenting and permanency of the parental roleChild
  development stages and impacts of a divorce on childrenCommunicating wi
 th your childrenCommunicating with the other parentChild abuse /neglect 
 and spouse abuseLegal concepts and community resourcesFamilies in transi
 tionHelping children understand and cope with divorceCouples may only at
 tend the same session with special permission. The cost of the class is 
 $25 and includes a workbook. A sliding fee scale is available. Children 
 are not permitted in the class.\nParticipants must bring picture identif
 ication to class\, such as a driver&rsquo\;s license.\nParticipants can
