More About The Village Learning Center
The Village Learning Center officially opened its doors in October 2000. In the years since, hundreds of children from preschoolers and older have enjoyed the benefits of The Village Learning Center's family atmosphere, secured premises and fun, structured learning environment overseen by owners Susan and Joe Miller. The Village Learning Center has scored the highest VPK Readiness Rate in Southeastern Hillsborough County for the last four consecutive years. The Voluntary Prekindergarten program is a legislatively mandated program designed to prepare every 4-year-old in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for his or her educational success. It gives each child an opportunity to perform better in school with quality programs that include high literacy standards, accountability, appropriate curricula, substantial instruction periods, manageable class sizes and qualified instructors. The Village Learning Center currently serves 243 children and 177 families.
